Westchester Park

6620 Dietz Drive, Canal Winchester 43110

Playgrounds:

This playground was unlike any I have seen in any parks we have visited so far. There are a lot of different things like, a giant ball that spins, a four-person seesaw, and much more. This park is a hidden GEM behind a housing complex. There is a workout trail that goes around the parking area. There is one shelter house and porter johns. The downside is that there is no changing table and not much for infants or younger children.

Storybook Trail:

I love the storybook trails! This one is Eric Carle's book, The Very Busy Spider. The storybook trail is pretty short and leads out to a golf course, however, there are fun little things to do along with the story. There are pages to read with QR codes to listen to different parts of the story, however, I couldn't get the audio to play. There are games where you find items from in the story in the trees.

"I liked swinging in the swings and walking through the trees"

"My favorite part is the storybook and swinging on the swing."

"My favorite part was climbing on the rocks and jumping off."
